What would you like to learn with your dog?

Life Skills for Young Puppies

Dogs 9-15 weeks of age

6 week course (CAN BE OFFERED ONLINE, TOO)

Class Limit:  5 dogs

Designed to teach your dog the skills to live with your family in harmony.  Skills covered includes sits, downs, impulse control, focus, recall, loose lead walking, jumping, nipping, and mouthing.

Life skills

Dogs 16 weeks or older

6 week course

Class Limit: 5 dogs

Designed to teach your dog the skills of focusing on the handler, impulse control, loose lead walking, recalls, sit, stay, down, polite greeting of dogs and people.

Loose Lead Walking advanced and Mat work

Dogs 5 months and older

4 week course (CAN BE OFFERED ONLINE, TOO)

Class Limit: 5 dogs

Designed to give your dog the basic skills needed to build stationing skills through mat training, and strengthen loose lead walking.

Intro to Agility

Dogs 6 months to 1 year or older

6 week course

Prerequisite’s: Completion of Life Skills, or Reliable Recalls Session One, or other Companion Obedience Class (with approval).

Class Limit:  4 dogs

Introduction to basic equipment, jumps with no bars and our handling system. Dogs MUST be able to work at the same time as other dogs.

Agility

Dogs 1 year or older

6 week course

Prerequisite: Intro To Agility, or other Agility Foundation Class (with approval).

Class Limit:  4 dogs

Continuation of agility equipment training and handling system.  Teams will be grouped in classes with others of same skill level. Dogs MUST be able to work at the same time as other dogs.

Reliable Recalls

Dogs 16 weeks of age and older

40 games requiring two 7 week sessions to complete all 40 games.

Class limit: 5 dogs

Designed to teach your dog how to listen and recall when distractions are high.  Games are taught in varying degrees of arousal with ever increasing distractions.  Skills covered reliable recalls, focus, solid stays, choice in behaviors. Dogs MUST be able to work at the same time as other dogs.
